FARM EVENTS
Grymsdyke Farm is a unique facility which promotes a deep understanding of materials and making, fostering a culture of experimentation in the realm of architectural and design. We are developing a programme of events, lectures and residencies happening across the year at Grymsdyke Farm. These will showcase the ideas, research and production happening there:

FARM TIME
You can book access to Grymsdyke Farm for a project on a time basis. This can be for study, experimentation or production.
Grymsdyke Farm will provides resources, tools, and spaces for designers, architects, and artists to engage in hands-on making and research, often at a 1:1 scale.
The facilities at Grymsdyke Farm allow for work with many different kinds of materials and techniques. They comprise:
– a wood workshop.
– a 3-axis CNC digital fabrication facility (bed size 1500 mm × 3000 mm).
– a casting and ceramic studio.
– a metal-working area.
– an industrial 6-axis robotic arm.
– a laser cutter (bed size 900 mm × 1250 mm).
– a Zcorp 3D printer.
In addition to the workshop, we offer accommodation for up to 12 people and a communal kitchen. Grymsdyke Farm also hosts a library with a collection of books on making. The grounds of Grymsdyke Farm include a large outdoor space with an orchard, tennis court, paddock, and a vegetable garden.

The Farm Shop organises exhibitions, and is an online gallery with a selection of the best pieces developed and produced at Grymsdyke Farm.
You can support Grymsdyke Farm and the designers who partake in its community by purchasing these objects which express and articulate ideas about the process of design, making and place.
The Farm Shop started in 2023 as a curatorial project that brought together artists, designers and architects to create a playful, convivial experience drawing from the knowledge, resources and practices centred around Grymsdyke Farm in Buckinghamshire.
