Developed from the 2026 Reading Design Summer School at Grymsdyke Farm, Proof, Fire and Table moves to Park Royal Design District as the next stage of the project, where the work will be further developed and activated through live and participatory moments.

At its centre is a new communal oven designed and made specifically for Park Royal by Grainge Rider Architects with David Hussey. Both an exhibited object and a working piece of infrastructure, the oven will be fired and used for making, cooking and gathering.

Students from the Summer School will return to continue the collective process begun at Grymsdyke Farm, with Ash Pales continuing the bread making work alongside them. The programme will also include a special event with architect and designer Nigel Coates.
